It's not even the end of Summer and I'm already craving cardigans, thick tights, ankle boots and my parka coat. I've definately decided that Summer isn't the season for me, I don't like getting my legs out on those rare days when it is actually warm, I don't like feeling sticky or sweaty and flip flops just give me blisters in between my toes. Yes, I definately think that Autumn is the season for me, the clothes are right up my street, the leaves turn pretty colours and it's not too cold either! (FYI, I hate Winter, yes snow's fine for the first day when you're bundled up inside going 'oooh look how pretty it is', but then it's an evil slushy devil that just wants to make me slip up and send me freezing cold.) So imagine my delight when I check my usual website haunts and notice that all the Autumn/Winter wear have started popping up! Anyway, here's a few of my favourite picks for Autumn, now I wonder if my student loan will cover all this and still leave me money for food...
1. New Look Dress: not only is it a gorgeous vintage inspired dress, the print is tiny daschuands, need I say anymore!?
2. Topshop Jersey Floral Tunic: I'm loving all the 60's/70's inspired clothing and can see this tunic, like my other Topshop tunics, fitting right into my wardrobe and being worn throughout the chillier seasons.
3. Urban Outfitters Aztec Cardigan: I can see myself living in this cardigan, it looks soo chunky and warm, I can picture myself curled up on my bed, wrapped up in this cardigan, watching a good film with a massive cup of coffee and seeing the snow fall outside(and seeth inside, I hate snow.)
4. New Look Heeled Loafers: I definately one of those people who can't wear heels in the day time (I'm 5'10), but I think these are little enough to get away with and they look insanely cute too. I'm such a huge fan of masculine shoes, but I do like how the heels gives it a more feminine edge.
5. New Look Palazzo Pants: I really want to try this trend, soo Seventies inspired, when I tried on a pair I felt like Margo from The Good Life! (It's a good feeling ;) )I'm moving even further up North when I go to Uni and I've got a feeling trousers will be a much better option that skirts and dresses when the cold weather sets in!
6. New Look Tailored Trousers: Such a lovely ink blue colour. Chinos don't really suit me (make my thighs look even more massive :/), so maybe these more tailored and fitted trousers will suit me better? Again, would be great for cold weather!
7. ASOS Brogue Boots: Mmm, aren't they divine? They look very hard wearing but yet soo pretty, if I could only get one thing off this list it would be these boots.
8. Topshop Velvet Teal Ballet Pumps: Such a beautiful colour, I love flimsy little pumps like this, but with my heffer feet and fast walking pace they don't last too long unfortunately!
9. Topshop Pyjama Inspired Jacket: I know this won't be up everyone's street, but I really like it! I think this would be really great to add to quite a plain coloured outfit.
10. Urban Outfitters Ostrich Bag: My inner old lady is crying out for this bag! The ostrich pattern reminds me of the Mulberry Tilly Ostrich bag that I love soo much, which is another reason why I like this bag.
11. Topshop Leapard Bodycon Dress: I'm not normally a fan of leopard print apart from on my nails, I really love this dress! I think it's the tan colour of the dress that makes it work for it, I think this dress could easily be dressed up with chunky heels and a leather jacket or down with a chunky black cardigan, tights and brogues.
12. ASOS Chelsea Boots: Everyone loves a Chelsea boot don't they? I thought the colour looked lovely as well.
And that's my picks for this Autumn! In other news I got into University! EEEEEEEEEEH! :') I'm going to be attending University of Cumbria, but living on the Lancaster campus, which is a good 2 and a hlaf hours away from where I live now! Since I went in through clearing it's been a bit hetic these past few days, buying things to for my accomadation, sorting Student Finance out, sorting accomadation out, going upto visit Lancaster, it's all happened so quickly! I thinking of doing a bit of a 'stuff for Uni haul', I'm not sure if people will find it interesting though? Who knows!
Thanks for reading!
Lots of love, Lottie xxx

My daily face.
Basically here's the make up I wear on a daily basis, I wish I could afford luxury cosmetics like MAC and Chanel (I really want to try Mat Lumiere!), but I'm a penniless (wannabe)student at the minute, so my lustings for luxury lipsticks, foundations and eyeshadows will just have to wait until I start earning a wage again! (Stupidly I gave up my job in Febuary!)Most of my make-up is 'drugstore' or 'high street', whatever you want to call it really, but I do have a couple of higher end products in there as well, I definately believe that if you spend a fair bit of money on it you should make sure you get your money's worth! I was about to put that I tend to go for a natural look, but I don't really! I love big lashes, big eyeliner and a load of blush, but I keep the colours I wear on my eyes very natural, lots of neutral browns and nude shades, and I only really wear lipstick on a night out. Anyway, here's my 'face' and a little review of everything too!
1. Revlon ColorStay Foundation (Oily/Combination) in Buff: I love this foundation, it's the first one I ever bought (yes, I didn't start wearing foundation till last year!), and I'm soo pleased with it. I love that it's a medium (leaning towards full ever so slightly)coverage, I like to know my foundation's on and that it's not going anywhere! It really does stay all day, I have oily skin, and I don't even have to powder with this foundation, unless it's a ridiculous hot day or I've had it on from 8 in the morning till 7/8 at night. I love it, yes it does smell of paint, but it doesn't bother me that much, some people also hate how quick drying it is, but I like that about it too.
2. Rimmel Glam'Eyes Day 2 Night 2in1 Mascara in Black: I've tried this in the Black/Brown formula, and if I'm being honest, that formula is better than the Black version in my opinion. I still really like this mascara though, it is a bit fiddly first thing in the morning if you're like me and don't wait until night time to use the volume wand. I do however find the volume wand a bit wet and clumpy though. For me, it's all about the length wand (even thought it's the same wand, but for the sake of this let's say they're different!), I definately notice a difference in my lashes when I use it. Overall I do like, but I can live without the volume bit.
3. Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Mascara in 100% Black: I chop and change between this and the Rimmel one, or I use them both and layer this over the Rimmel mascara.I prefer this mascara to be honest, I love the big fat brush and it gives me volume and length all in one. I also really like the packaging, it looks like a bee!
4. Avon 8 in 1! Eye Palette in Neutral Tones: I'm never normally that impressed with Avon cosmetics, but I really love this palette! All really gorgeous shades, nicely pigmented and go on really nicely, love it. It's a bit of a pauper's version of the Naked Palette but without the black colours (Gunmetal and Creep), which I wouldn't wear anyway as they don't suit me! I also really want to try the Beauty UK dupe of the Naked Palette that Sara showed on her youtube!
5. Carmex in Cherry: I don't really get the hype over Carmex,I think it's ok, but then I bite my lips all the time so no wonder I never really see results! I always have to have lipbalm on though, I'm addicted!
6. Natural Collection Eyeshadow Duo in Mocha/Latte: I use the brown side (Mocha) to fill in my brows, it's a really nice eyeshadow duo to say it was about 2 quid or something!
7. Mini Benefit Erase Paste in Shade 2: Not overly keen to be honest, I use it under my bags when I need too. I think it's quite sticky, which puts me off it, but it does work a lot better when it's patted into the skin as opposed to being blended in with fingers, I got this in a kit and I will use it until I've finished it, but I wouldn't pay £18 for it.
8. Benefit Blush in Coralista: I LOVE this blush. I've worn it nearly every single day since I got it in January and I've only just started to make a dint in it, it'll last me forever and it's such a lovely colour that really suits me. The only bad thing is the packaging is now getting a bit battered from me using it all the time and lugging it around with me!
9. Benefit Boiing Industrial Strength Concealer in Shade 2: I love this concealer, it works wonders over the spots and blemishes on my chin, my only problem is the shade is too orange for me, but that's not the concealer's fault, that's the sale assistant's very bad skin tone matching fault. Because it's soo orange I have to wear it under my foundation, but it still works amazingly. I'm soo sad I've nearly finished it, I'll have to save up for another one, although my Dad's girlfriend has a full one that she never uses so I might just ask her if I can have hers!
10. Mini Benefit Stay Don't Stray Primer: It's an ok primer, I use it just to even out the colour on my eyelid and to stop it from being so oily. For such a tiny little sample it's lasted quite a long time! I think this product works really well in conjunction with the next product I'm going to mention, neither of them work amazingly without the other if you get me!
11. Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Recess: I got this as a freebie when I bought my blush and concealer (I had a makeover), and it's such a lovely pink nude colour, almost a blush colour. As a said above it works really well with the primer, together they make a really great base and makes my eyeshadows last all day! It has a lovely creamy texture too, almost like mousse!
12. Bourjois Liner Pinceau in Black: A really nice eyeliner, the brush took a bit of time to get use to after I'd been using a spongey felt tip one for about 2 years, but apart from that I've had no other problems with it. Really nice for doing a flicky cat eye/50's liner look, which is what I wear all the time.
So that's my everyday make up! That's actually quite a lot more products than I thought, no wonder my friend kept on complaining I took ages to get ready when we were on holiday! Have you tried any of these products, what are your thoughts on them? And what's your daily make up?
Lottie :)

Topshop Wishlist (yes another one!)
I love Topshop, it's my place of worship. Whenever I go shopping I always make a beeline straight to Topshop. When I visited Lincoln on an Uni open day,(hopefully I'll be going to Uni there!), I had a look around the town centre and I found Topshop within 5 minutes, I'm like a homing pidgeon for it! Yes, I do have some issues with Topshop (i.e sometimes the prices are just ridiculous and the quality of some items is questionable as well), but the clothing there is so much more 'me' than any other clothing store, so I forgive it of it's sins (and generally buy in the sale). But I digress, as I said, I always find Topshop clothing to suit my style more than any other brand, I think they just get it right all the time. There has never been a time where I've gone into Topshop and thought 'I can't find anything!', I've always been able to go in there and take my pick of all the racks and rails. Anyway, here's what's been making me wish I still had a job, and therefore money, recently.
1. Jade Lace Peter Pan Collar Sleeveless Blouse: Isn't the colour just stunning? It reminds me a lot of China Glaze's Four Leafed Clover polish. I love a lace and a Peter Pan collar, so I instantly fell for this. I'm not sure what you'd wear underneath it though?!
2. Nude Skull Heart Roll Sleeve Tee: I actually think this a really cute tee! I'd wear this with just simply tucked into a black highwaisted bodycon skirt, tights and some brown loafers or brogues. If I had a spare £18 I'd snap it up straight away!
3. Charcoal Tattoo Bird Print Tee: I love old school tattoos (think Sailor Jerry!), so I think this is great. It looks so comfy and easy to wear too.
4. Cream Aztec Print Canvas Backpack: Basically 'I WANT IT'. I love this backpack, I think it'd be great for when I go to Uni, so hopefully it'll come down in the sale by that time!http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
5. Manney Black Suede Slipper Shoes: I reallllly want a pair of shoes like this, I just think they'd go with every outhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.giffit, I love them.
6. Jenny Dress by Goldie: I've never really paid attention to http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifthe 'Goldie' brand on the Studio line, but this dress really caught my eye. I love the 60's vibe to it, the pretty cream and coral colours and the unusual pattern. I have a thing for stripes at the minute, and this a quriky take on it.
7. Coral Gathered Slit Side Maxi Skirt: It wasn't until I was finding the link for this that I realised it had a side slit, I'm a bit put off it now, boo :( But anyway, the thing that really drew me to thise was the colour, gorge isn't it?
8. Red Heart Lock Cross Body Frame Bag: Isn't it cute! Ah I love it, I don't think £25 a bad price for the bag eithehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifr, I'll either have to save up for it or pester my boyfriend for it!
9. Petite Grey Marl Hooded Top: I used to live in hoody's when I was a little emo kid, and I really want to start wearing them again, they're soo easy to wear and they look cool too. I'm also starting to look for more jackets and cardigans as one of my choices for accomadation at Uni has exposed brickwork in some of the rooms, so if I get put in one of those rooms I'm going to be freezing and will need more jackets and cardigans to keep me warm!
10. Navy Pansy Print Flippy Skirt: Such a pretty skirt, I love a floral print.
11. Maccoy Black Chelsea Ankle Boots: Mmmmmm. Gorge boots, although they remind me of some old riding boots I used to have!
Hope you liked it, have you got your eye on anything from Toppers at the minute?

This is an outrage!
Today I did a very exciting thing, I made a video!
Yes, my first ever youtube video! I find it a lot easier to make a quick video than to take lots of self-timed pictures on a camera standing on my bed, then having only having a couple of photos that don't make me look like a walrus, it's a lot of effort for very little payback, whereas a video seems a lot quicker and easier, and I still get to show you all my outfits! Apologies for the volume, I was whispering as my Dad's girlfriend was in and I didn't want her to hear me! I've actually made videos before, but I've never had the confidence to post them. Anyway let me know what you think!
Another thing that happened today, which I think is very cool and made me squeal with joy was Dave Brown from the Mighty Boosh tweeted me back after I tweeted him on the off chance. If you're not a Boosh fan, then have a quick google of them, Dave Brown plays Bollo the gorilla in the series, and he's rather cute as it just so happens ;) Anyway here's the tweet, which will make absolutely no sense to people who aren't fans of the Boosh, but if you're a Booshy lover like me, you'll recognise the rather obscure reference :)
Ignore the girl in the middle, just focus on me (lottiepie) and him (JimmyLazers)! By the way I totally realise how 'teenie bopper/crazed fan' of me this is, but I love the Boosh, at least my friend Jason who is also a Boosh Bitch was very excited haha!
Hope you're all okay! Keep it geeky!

OOTN :)
This is what I wore out to celebrate a friends 18th, sorry the pictures not amazing but I didn't have a chance to take any good ones before we went over to friends for some champagne before we hit the club! Well I say club, my boyfriend was performing with his band Infirmity at our local club/bar at their acoustic night, but it was still an amazing night! This dress is from Motel and I love it! I think the white collar gives it a bit more of a quirky edge. The top half of the dress is sheer, so I wore a black boobtube underneath it since I wasn't wearing tights, I definately live by the rule that you only get one or the other out, never both at the same time! The blazer is from Primark, I think it works well with the dress and the heels I wore, I definately went for a more masculine/tailored look here, but I really like it. I love the lipstick I'm wearing here too, it's a Rimmel Colour Show Off lipstick in Kiss Me 140. I'm not much of a smokey eye person, so I like to do lots of liner and a bright, bold lip when I go out instead. I had such a great time last night, but then again great friends, music and lots Disaronno and cola always make for a good night!

How I'd Style A Maxi Skirt.
This basically is summing up how much I reallllllly want a maxi skirt! I'm going on holiday soon and I think it would be perfect for everything, travelling in, going to the beach, going out to eat, maybe even to wear on a night out! So I just thought I'd show how I'd style up a maxi skirt, this is the first time I've done one of these so it might not be to everyone's taste, but fashion's what you make of it and you're own take on things, isn't it!
1. Maxi skirt: Topshop
2. Floral shirt: Rare at Topshop
3. Darth Vader tee: Sweet N Sour at Topshop
4. Sandals: H&M
5. The Beatles tee: Sweet N Sour at Topshop
6. Floral headband: New Look
7. All jewellery: Topshop
8: Popeye tee: Truffle Shuffle
9. Floral tied shirt: River Island
10: Sandals: H&M
11: Giraffe fringed tee: River Island
I never thought I'd ever want a bold coloured maxi skirt, but I saw this on the gold old Topshop website and fell in love. In case you can't tell from the list of products for this, I am seriously in love with everything from Toppers at the minute, I just wish I could afford it all!

Things I'm Loving: Numero Uno.
Apologies for lack of updates, but sixth form has just taken over my life at the minute, and even when I do where an outfit that I that I'd like to put up on here, by the time I get home I'm such a mess, all my make up's worn off and my hairs fallen out of whatever style it's in and I normally get straight stuck into coursework, so sorry! I know I must improve. But, to keep my blog going here's a little things I'm loving at the moment post, which I would actually like to make a regular feature, so here's the first one for you all!
1. The Mighty Boosh
I am a MASSIVE fan of the Boosh boys, and while I've been slaving away over my art coursework, they've been on the computer in the background, keeping me going until the early hours of the morning. I find it a lot easier to repititive work (i.e cutting out photos, sticking them down, annotating, blah blah blah) if I've got something to take my mind off it, so I'm doing it without realising it (does that make sense haha?) and there's nothing better to take your mind off reality than the Mighty Boosh.
2. Oxford Comma - Vampire Weekend
My favourite song at the minute, and any song that refers Get Low by Lil John is a winner in my book.
3. Hugging
Hugging makes everyone feel happier. A couple of my boy mates have been having problems with the ladies at the minute so lots of hugs have been in order. One of them said to me that I made them feel loved after I'd given him lots of cuddles, I nearly bloody cried :') It would so much easier if all our problems could be sold with cuddles.
4. Bournville
I've been munching my way through these lately, I'm putting it down to stress rather than me just being greedy.
5. Never Mind The Buzzcocks
Yes, there may be a slight theme to the programmes I watch. Another programme I've been watching during my late nights of last minute coursework, there's just something about Noel Fielding that makes me smile, and Phil Jupitus is very funny too, a very good comedy combination. These little red button NMTB extras I soooo funny (well they are to me anyway!)in one of them, Phil even says Noel's the reason he's still doing Buzzcocks, how lovely is that!
That's it for now, hope you're all well!

Alas, earwax.
Feast your eyes on these my muggle chums, Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans! When my best friend Lauren presented me with these as a gift from Florida, I very nearly weed myself in excitement. I am both a Harry Potter, and a jelly bean enthusist, so this was the perfect present for me. Here's a photo of me trying to convey my excitement:
You can really sense my psychotic excitement can't you? :') As I was saying, my bestie chum Lauren has just returned from Florida, I can't even explain how much I missed her, it literally felt like half of me was missing, that's how important she is to me. After not seeing each other for two weeks, (and barely seeing each other for about 4 weeks before that!) it was rather an emotional affair, me, my boyfriend and our other friend Jonathan surprised her by coming over to her family party (it was her 18th yesterday, she flew back from Florida that night!), and as soon as she saw me she cried, which made me cry, which made everyone laugh at us! For her birthday, I bought her a teacup Pandora charm (which made her cry, then pnce she got over that, my card made me cry!)which fitted in very nicely with her other present off her sister, a gorgeous Alice in Wonderland tea set.
Anyway, back to the beans! I've only just cracked them open, and had 4 so far, I want to save them as much as possible! I've had what I can assume to be Cinnamon Pie, Lemon Drop, Chocolate Pudding and Bubblegum flavoured beans so far, no vomit or earwax flavoured ones so far! There are no flavours on the back like Jelly Belly beans, so you really have got no clue what you're getting and have to rely on your taste buds to tell you, I'm dreading getting a pepper or sardine flavoured ones like Harry and Ron did once!
Speaking of Harry Potter, have you all seen the new trailer? I'M SOO EXCITED! I can already tell they've made some mistakes and done scenes differently, but I'm still excited. I can't wait to see how they bring Sirius, Lily and James back to accompany Harry on his way to be killed by Voldemort (in case you haven't read it, he doesn't die for realz), I hope it's as beautiful as the way it's written in the book, but I doubt it will be, I'm also interested to see how the Battle of Hogwarts and breaking into Gringotts will be done.
Yes, that was an entire post about jelly beans. Thanks for reading till the end if you do haha!
Lots of love, Lottie xxx
P.S just had what I believe to be a custard flavoured bean!

Immense Cuteness.
Apologies for lack of updates, hopefully these bundles of fluffy cuteness will make up for it! Today I went to go see my auntie's new puppy, she's is gorgeous! Eeeeh I love her so much already, and I only spent about 20 minutes with her :') She's going to be called Daisy, and even though she was the quietest out of all the pups, you can tell she's going to be a handful! I really like how she's different to the typical border collies you see, like she has spots and dots all over her nose and belly, and a cute little zig zag coming off the back off her collar (the white bit around her neck). She moves into my auntie's house this Sunday and I can't wait to go visit her!
Anyway, yeah sorry I haven't been updating much, even though it's half term I've been busy going into school a lot and just keep forgetting to take pictures in the morning, then when I remember in the afternoon, I'm not looking soo fresh and all my make up has started to slide off and I doubt you'd want to see a picture of me like that :')
Hope everyone's ok, I promise I'll do some more outfit posts soon, and I also have a collective haul I need to talk about too!
Lots of love, Lottie!

Mercury Summer.
Top: H&M♥ Skirt: DIY but originally Primark♥ Leggings: Primark♥ Scarf: River Island♥
Hi guys! Sorry I was MIA last week, I was feeling so poo and literally just lived in my pyjamas, which wouldn't make for very interesting outfit posts! I quite liked what I was wearing today, it's different to the other outfits I've posted here, I liked the clashing patterns of stripes and florals. I really like this circle scarf too, I just wish it was mine! It's actually my Dad's girlfriends, but since they're on holiday I've been taking advantage of her wardrobe heehee!
Tomorrow I'm hopefully stripping my hair with B4 and dying it a nice reddish brown colour, if you guys saw the lovely Milly's London post, her colour in those photos is what I'm aiming for, I have major hair envy haha! I'm going to take pictures throughout the process to show you what the B4's like, I've used it twice before, but when I was using it for the first time, there were no really helpful reviews on it to let me know what I was getting myself in for, or any helpful tips, so hopefully me blogging (and maybe videoing it, eeh!) will help some other people out who want to know about it :)
Hope you're all ok, lots of love!
Lottie xxxxx
P.S. I'm watching 16 and Pregnant, they're calling their daughter 'Genesis'. Thoughts? Personally I think it's terrible! That poor child.

Sorry for the filler post, but I'm poorly at the minute! I have a throat infection, which is affecting my asthma too, it's also making me have a weird appetite too, for example I had a craving for cheesy straws from Cooplands yesterday and made my Dad's girlfriend bring me some back from town! Being poorly makes me hanker for savoury foos I think, anyway here's a little questions jobby to replace what would have been an outfit post, since I'm poorly I've not really been bothered to get dressed, I'm currently sat in pyjamas with a blanket round me, not much of an outfit really!
1. What is your dream job?
I'm still not sure what I really want to do for a job, I'm torn between teaching (sensible option) and journalism (not so sensible option) at the minute, which I can go into after doing my English Lit degree, which I start in September, eeeeh! I'm soo excited, anyway if I'm going to be honest I've always really wanted to be an author, ever since I was seven. I love reading and writing, I can't think of a more perfect job for me but again not a very sensible option, but who knows what the future will hold!
2. What is your favourite fragrance for Winter?
I wear Vera Wang Princess all year round!
3. How do you take your tea/coffee?
I only ever really drink coffee, which I have about medium, i.e medium strength and medium amount of milk in it, so not weak, but not to strong either. I only get the craving for tea when I'm poorly for some reason!
4. What is your most important beauty secret?
I don't think I have any! Moisturise lots would probably be it, my Dad's girlfriend says she always moisturised her skin and she's never had any stretch marks, even after 2 kids and lots of weight changes, so I think that's rather a good beauty secret/tip!
5. If you had an all expenses paid vacation, where would you go?
New York, although I don't think I'd ever come back! I've been lucky enough to go to New York twice already and I never wanted to leave, it truly is the most amazing place ever, and now I'm more into fashion as well I think I'd enjoy the experience even more!
6. If a genie popped up in your lap right now and offered you three wishes, what would you ask for?
As selfish as it is, I'd wish to be rich! But I would also wish for all the horrible diseases out there to be cured as well. My mum died of cancer, and I would never want anyone else out there to go what she went through, and what our family has been through, wether it's cancer, or heart disease or whatever it is, there's no reason why would should just cure one thing. As for my third wish, probably all the people who I love the most to just be happy! :)
7. If you could only have breakfast, lunch, dinner or desert foods for the rest of your life, what would you pick?
Dinner foods, without a doubt. I don't really eat breakfast anyway, and I think that most of the things you have for lunch you can have for dinner too, and only eating dinner foods means shepherd's pie and roast dinners a lot more, my favourite!
8. If you were Hello Kitty what colour hair bow would you wear?
Can I have a floral one please!?
9. What is your biggest makeup pet peeve?
Tide lines! Ugh I really hate it when people don't rub there foundation in properly, looks bloody horrible. Especially when their neck is pale, but their face is bright orange. Ughhh.
10. If you could wear only one piece of jewellery for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A necklace my boyfriend bought me for my 18th :)
11. What one talent do you wish you had?
I wish I could sing. I like to think that I can, when I'm singing along loudly to my iTunes, but I know I can't :')
12. Which product will you continue to purchase?
There's too many, but probably foundation, mascara and moisturiser. Not sure which brands, cause I still haven't found the perfect one's of either of them, although for moisturiser it would probably be Palmer's Coco Butter or Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter.
13. If you could look into the future, would you? And what would you like to know?
Ummm I really don't know! Normally I'm one of those people who has to know everything, but I'd be too scared I'd find out something bad then not want to live anymore or something horrible like that!
14. What made you start a blog?
I'd just been following lots of them for ages, and had thought about making one for a long time, and only just built up the courage to do it now!
15. Who is your biggest celebrity crush? Include a picture!
I was thinking about this the other day actually haha, cause I wasn't really sure if I had one! After watching 'Supersizers Eat' constantly these past few days I think it may have to be Giles Coren, or maybe Noel Fielding who I also really like. I really like funny men, if they make me laugh I will fancy them in some way! I also really like dark haired boys, so they both fit the bill, even though they're on complete opposite scales!
(yes I'm very aware I have weird taste men, although I assure you my boyfriend is perfectly normal!)
Anyway, thanks for reading and putting up with a silly filler post while I'm poorly! To make me feel better, why don't you tell me who your celebs crushes are, they can't be much worse than mine!

Just draw another in you think we've crossed a line.
Dress: Topshop♥ Cardigan:George at Asda♥ Scarf: Vintage♥
This evening I went for some lovely Nandos and shopping with my Dad and his girlfriend, and discovered that I'm too tall for maxi dresses! UGH. How can this be? I'm normally a 10 in dresses and skirts, then a 12 in trousers/leggings, partly because I have chunkyish thighs and because I have long legs too (I'm around 5'10/5'11 just to give you an idea)and a ten comes up too short, and a 12 is just too big on the body! I felt like crying in the New Look changing rooms after spotting my perfect maxi dress after trying on countless other maxis, only to find a 10 came just above my ankle, and there was no size 12 to be found on the rack for me to even try :(
Anyway that's my mini rant(or should I say MAXI rant /terrible pun), I did however get some nice hair stuff and some desert boots from Primark instead, I'm planning to go shopping again in half term, so I will probably include them in a haul from that unless you see them on here first. Tomorrow I'm also going to book an eye test, hopefully my local Specsavers will have the Gok Wan range in! Just in case you haven't seen the range you can find them here on the Specsaver's website, and here's some of my favourites from the collection.
Lots of love, Lottie xxxx

Fat Bottomed Girls You Make The Rocking World Go Round.
Dress: Primark♥ Headband: New Look♥
Hi everyone! I hope you're all ok, I'm knackered! I've been really stressed out these past couple of weeks, and it affects my sleep a lot which has led me to trying out lots of different methods to help me get some sleep. So far I can confirm that Night Nurse and Kalms do absolutely nothing to help me get some sleep, sometimes Sominex works and sometimes it doesn't, it's really frustrating! I've also bought some Lush bath stuff in hopes that they will help a little bit, so far I've only used Ikkle Baby Bot ballistic and a bit of Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds bubble bar, and those in conjunction with wine and Sominex worked a treat! Although I'm guessing the wine played the biggest part in me getting a good nights sleep haha, the last time I had a really good sleep was after a night out when I slept from about 2 til 10 in the morning, which is really good for me as I'm an early bird! If you guys have any tips of getting a good's nights sleep please let me know, it'll be really helpful!
Anyway onto my outfit, this dress is about 3 years old I think! And it's from Primark so it's lasted realllllly well! You can't see my necklace to well in these pictures, but it's actually a black rosary necklace with a cameo of Christopher Lee in his role of Dracula on it! I love it, I love all the old Hammer Horror films, and I definately know nobody else will have it either! I also did my nails last night which I'm ridiculously proud of, you'll see those and a close up of my Sherlock Holmes ring below :)
I used Nails Inc Stables Market as my base (good to go in one coat, I love that polish!), then W7 Black for the leopard print, and for the roses Collection 2000 Hot Looks in Ninja for the leaves and Hoola Hoop for the roses, and also Natural Collection Hibiscus for the roses too :)
Hope you all get a good night's sleep!

Mmmm...Topshop.
Yes, it's another Topshop wishlist, but I love it! I think everyone loves Topshop to be honest ;) it's just a little filler post while I try and find the time to do some more interesting posts, I'd like to do a what's in my bag post soon, since I carry my whole life in my bag and it'll be interesting to see what's actually in it!
1. This shirt is so adorable, I love the scalloped peter pan collar and edges and the colour! Oh the colour is beautiful. WANTWANTWANT.
2. I saw this maxi dress today during an English Lit lesson (I'd finished all my work so it was ok!) and fell in love. It's so pretty and flowey, I really want to wear it for my leaver's party, but £75 is a lot especially with 2 birthday's coming up and a holiday and I no longer have a job!
3. I love this dress, so perfect for spring/summer, it's definately something I'd wear a lot, it's soo my style!
4. This skirt and the blue shirt mentioned above would be perfect together! I'd also love it just with a plain white vest and some gladiator sandals.
5. This bag is just pure granny chic. LOVE! It's a holdall, but it doesn't mention sizing on the website, but if it's big enough I may buy this for my holiday, I was planning on taking a huge leather Marc B bag that's known as 'the suitcase' but the zip's broken so I need a new big bag/holdall anyway.
6. This umbrella is ridiculously sweet and cute. I love the fact that's clear too, again I need a new umbrella, I never would normally pay £15 for one, but hopefully it's an investment piece and would last for quite a while, as compared to a £3 one from Primark!
Today's been so odd, earlier me and my Dad's girlfriend, Annette, were sat watching My Super Sweet 16 UK (as you do), when Annette shout's 'LOOK!' and points towards the kitchen door, and a random whippet dog was just stood in the doorway! My dog is such a crap guard dog, she let it walk right in our house! We let it back out on to the street and couldn't figure out how it got in! The fence on our right has a huge panel missing, but there was no way for this dog to get into that garden to come into ours! Then about 5 minutes later another dog appeared in our garden! Turns out they were getting in through a tiny gap in our fence, but it was soo funny and weird! I guess you had to be there :')
Has anything odd happened to you today? Any dogs appeared in your kitchens!? Or do you just want something from Topshop?
xxxx
P.S! In case you haven't already, you should all check out Pearl's new online vintage shop! The price's are soo afforadable and there's some gorgeous pieces, I've got my eye on the pink corsage dress!

Kiss me you animal.
Shirt: Primark♥ Vest top: Topshop♥ Shorts: Zara♥
This is what I wore on Monday, none of my outfits have been interesting since then haha. I felt very Katy Perry in her 'One Of The Boys'days, I think she looked a lot better then personally. Speaking of which, I just downloaded her new album and from the bits I've heard it's terrible. It's such a shame, I really used to love her! She was such a style icon to me back then, I still look over her old pictures for inspiration from time to time.
Anyway, I must stop procrastining and finish off this essay, that isn't even the right essay I should be doing but I'm stupidly tired and I don't care!

Talking To The Moon
Dress: ASOS♥ Tights: Primark♥ Headband: Miss Selfridge♥
This is what I wore today to go for Starbucks and a natter with my best friend, I was soo excited to go because she passed her driving test this week (passed first time!) and she got to drive us to the shopping center is her car! It was soo exciting, I was proper proud of her! She has a ridiculously cute Fiat 500, I love it! I really need to learn how to drive, I've not even had any lessons!
I really like this ASOS dress, it's described as Fair Isle on the website, but to me it looks a lot more like a 70's print? So I think it'll still be ok to wear in the summer too. I also found a holy grail clothing item that I reallly reallllly need for summer today in H&M, some black cycle shorts! Although I didn't get them today due to lack of funds, I'm so happy I now know where to get some from! They come in black and grey with lace round the bottom of the legholes and I think they were 6.99, so you can't really go wrong! They'll be great under summer dresses, less chance of accidentally flashing someone! I was going to DIY a pair, but hemming a pair of leggings by hand would just take forever and only end up looking crap!
How did you guys spend your Sunday?

Truffle Shuffle: Offically Retro. Totally Awesome.
Hi guys! Sorry I've not posted in a while, it's been such an odd week, what with exam results on Thursday, the whole school's been on edge and when they got the results on Wednesday, we could tell that some of the teacher's were less than impressed! Ah well, there's always re-sits in June!
Anyway, today's post is about a website that I absolutely love! Truffle Shuffle has got one of the biggest ranges of t shirts I've ever seen, for men, women and children! They have a massive variety to choose from, you browse and shop via genre which includes TV shows, Movies, Cartoons, Music, Games and Toys, Fairytales, Classic Brands, Icons and then Everything Else, and these catergories, especially TV and Cartoons, go wayyyy back. Just some of the childhood charecters you'll see on this website includes (just to name a few!) The Wombles, The Smurfs, The Poddington Peas,Button Moon, Bananaman and The Care Bears. It's also a host to lots of comic book charecters such as Wonder Woman (a personal fave of mine), Superman and Captain America. Other iconic images include Barbie, Hello Kitty, Minnie Mouse, Marilyn Monroe and rock legends such as The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie. There really is something for everyone on this site, and it doesn't stop at t shirts, they have bags, pj's, fancy dress outfits, hats, headphones, jewellery and sunglasses. If you're a Disney Couture fan, they have 33 pieces for you to choose from. Not only is it a personal favourite of mine, but it's also a favourite for celebrities such as Mollie King and Una Healy from The Saturdays, Marina and The Diamonds, Noel Fielding (♥), Ashlee Tisdale, Jaime Winstone, Audrina Partridge and loads more! (to see the full list click here)
So here's a few favourite things from Truffle Shuffle that I've currently been lusting over, and believe me I could have gone mental with this Wish List...
(Yes, this is just a few!;) )
1. This Oscar the Grouch hat is so cute and funny, I really wish I'd had it this winter to keep my head warm! It also comes in a Cookie Monster and Elmo design for those of you who aren't grouches like Oscar and me!
2. Bananaman was always one of my most loved cartoons when I was little, even though Dr Gloom really did scare me! It's also voiced by the men who did The Goodies (Bill Oddie, Tim Brooke-Taylor and Graeme Garden) which I also love. I like how it's set out almost like a boxing match poster.
3. Care Bears! It's adorable. I really liked Love-A-Lot Bear and Tender Heart Bear when I was little, who was your favourite?
4. This t shirt reminds me of Moss from The IT Crowd for some reason?! I can picture me wearing it while swooning over him. (I ♥ Moss!)
5. I love Star Wars humour. I think I'll probably buy this when I get some spare money! God I love this top, it's soo funny :')
6. I'm also a huge Monty Python fan, and Holy Grail is my favourite film of theirs. They have a bigger range of Monty Python merch in the Men's section, which I may have to end up ordering from since this girls one is sold out in every size but Extra Small!
7. The Poddington Peas are another favourite of mine when I was younger, though not many people have heard of it?
8. If you've read my getting to know me post, you'll know I already like Penelope Pitstop and her car, The Compact Pussycat! It's so cute, and I love the flowery/swirly fabric!
9. I love Pink Floyd and vintage band tees in general, and I think this would be great for just chucking on with a floral skirt for these in between months. I do think for 55 quid is a bit much for a jumper though, but I love it anyway.
10. The back of this top is soo cool! They never did manage to take over the world though :(
11. They're R2-D2 headphones. There's no need for an explanation about why I love these. My friend has the Boba Fett one's and they're amazing too!
That was a long wish list! But it is really hard just to pick a few things from Truffle Shuffle, it's just full of amazing items! Is there anything you want from Truffle Shuffle?

A plea for help!
As you can see, I've been trying to renovate the blog a little bit, but as you can also see, there is a massive white gap at the header, and I have no idea how to get rid of it! I really love this design off Shabby Chic blogs, and would love to use it as my layout, and if someone could help me figure out how to get rid of this I'd be so grateful!
Please help!

Teeney Weeney Bikini
I never really realised how much I actually liked summer until the other day when I found myself sat in my best friends conservatory on an oddly sunny and warm day for this time of year. It actually felt like the beginning of summer, it got me soo excited for I can brave the outdoors without tights again and not have to be bundled up in a cardigan! And the fact that me and the bestie were also talking about our holiday to Newquay in June also got me excited for summer too! (Some people like Magaluff, other's like Newquay, and I'd personally pick a week of body boarding and Cornish Rattler with my best friend over a week of cheap drink, immense hangovers and crap music! Ahem.) Anyway, we're hoping for sunny weather and ever since we booked the holiday I've been scanning all my favourite clothing websites for summer dresses, accessorises and most of all bikinis! I've had a bit of a body confidence boost over the past couple of years, and now feel (almost!) confident enough to wear a bikini, the only thing is hoping my E/F sized bust will be able to fit in these pretty little things! I do struggle a fair bit in trying to find affordable, cute bikini's that come in cup size and underwired, so while I continue my quest to find such a bikini, I'll leave you with a few that I've been lusting over that are both affordable and lovely. If all else fails, I'll buy the top in a bigger size and just pull the strings really tight!
1 & 2 are both gorge Topshop bikinis! I just love the print on both of them, and cute ruffles on the first set!
3 is not something I'm normally drawn to really. I love the pinky coral colour, but the 3D roses took me a bit of time to grow on me, everytime I went back onto the River Island website, I liked them more and more!
4 is Dorothy Perkins and ridiculously cheap compared to some of the others I've seen, and I love the pattern on this too, the mixture of flowers and dashes of colour, so cute!
5 is from ASOS, and I love it! It's like a funky bohemian paisley pattern, I love the bright bold colours on it, and paisley is always a winner in book. I think this is my favourite out of all of them, this might end up in my online shopping basket soon!
I know this seems so ahead of time, but I think it's fun looking at all the summer stuff and thinking about my holiday and looking forward to all the nice weather too! I'm so fed up of dingey grey skies and cold weather!
Are you guys looking forward to summer? Are you going on holiday and where? Or do you just think I'm crazy for preparing for this stuff months beforehand!

Topshop Wislist!
Everyone loves a bit of Toppers, I personally adore Topshop, I find most of the clothing is definately my style (florals, Peter Pan collars, tea dresses)and I often find myself gazing longingly at the website at all the pretty new items that I wish I could fill my wardrobe with. Here's just a few of my favourites of my wishlist at the minute.
1. This top is so cute, I'm really into shirts at the minute, and I love the scallop edge detail. I'd probably pair it with either a mid-length floral skirt, or a black bodycon skirt with some funky tights.
2. How gorgeous is this nail varnish? Although I've always admired Topshop's wide range of nail varnish's, Green Room totally blew me away. I'm going to have to get my hands on it soon!
3. This dress is just completely my style. A red, floral tea dress that has a touch of 50's style to it, I love it! Although 46 squids is a bit out of my price range atm, I will certainly be saving up for it, or at least waiting for it to pop up in the sales!
4. I'm loving all Topshop rings at the minute, this is just one of several, it's gorgeous.
5. I'm going on holiday to Newquay soon, and this sundress is definately on my list of holiday clothes!
6. I LOVE these brogues! For 100% leather, I don't think 30 odd quid is too bad really, and the cut out stars make them perfect for summer, no clammy/sweaty feet! By the time summer rolls around, I'll have definately have worn out my New Look brogues, I just hope I'll be able able to get my heffer feet into these!
Is there anything you guys have got your eye on from Topshop?
Lots of love, Lottie!

So it was my birthday on Monday...
This was my 18th birthday present...
I cannot even begin to explain how much I'll treasure and love this bag for the rest of my life. My dad surprised me with this and I will never be able to thank him enough. I know some of you will probably think I'm over reacting over a bag, but I love that this is something I will be able to keep forever and will mean something to me, I know my Dad put a lot of thought into this, he knows Vivienne Westwood is my favourite!
Here's some of the my other birthdays presents:
Nails Inc set ♥ Strawberry Purse - H&M ♥ Scarves - New Look ♥ Owl - Build A Bear (I have an obsession!) ♥ Vera Wang Preppy Princess ♥ Roses Chocolates ♥ Disaranno (my favourite drink!) ♥
I also got some socks, this amazing tee shirt from my brother, I love it so much, I really want to wear it out to see wether it actually glows in the dark or not! I also got a gorgeous necklace from my boyfriend, but my camera's macro setting didn't feel like co-operating at this time of night, so you'll just have to wait to see it!
So as I said, my birthday was this Monday, which also happened to be Valentine's Day! (because you all didn't know that anyway ;) ) Did you all have happy Valentine's Days? Or are you against this national celebration of love? I'm personally in two minds about it, in my own selfish way I quite like having my birthday then, because even though you have this massive celebration going on, I still get to be the main focus of attention in some people's lives, and it makes it a bit more special. And people always remember it haha! I've also found it's a good distraction for my friends who get the VDay blues too, it gives them someone else to focus on. As for the actual thing itself? Let's face it, it has become more commercialised over the years, focusing more on the cute, lovey dovey, so-sweet-it'll-make-you-sick, part of it rather than the romantic and passionate side of it. But wether you're into it or not, I hope you all had a good one!♥
Lots of love,

Getting To Know You.
Here's just a little filler post until I find a bit of time to do a review of some Benefit products I've been meaning to do, I've not yet finished my notice at work and I've still got a fair bit of coursework to be dealing with, so I'll leave this to bide you over until then.
1. What time did you go to bed last night and were you alone?
I was alone and I'm not really sure, I think around half past 11, then I woke up at half past 3, turned Snog Marry Avoid on and fell back asleep.
2. If you could be given ANY talent what would it be?
The talent of being able to get in to University!
3. What was the last film that really moved/disturbed/thrilled you and why?
Moved - Chocolat, because I'm watching it now, I always hate the part where she's trying to make her daughter leave the village, it always makes me cry
4. What is your favourite TV show of all time ie you've seen them all, can watch it over and over again and quote lines from it?
I know nearly all the lines to Futurama, Seasons 1 -4.
The only reason I don't know any of the new seasons is because we haven't got them on DVD, I know a lot of Mighty Boosh, Blackadder and Dinnerladies lines too.
5. Whats your favourite way to wake up and whats the first thing you do?
Probably of my own accord and I always check what time it is on my phone
6. What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name?
Heidi! I was meant to be called Heidi, but they chose Charlotte instead, which I also like, but I think Heidi's a lot more unique and quirky, I'd like to call my daughter Heidi.
7. If you had to do a bushtucker challenge (you have to eat insects/grubs etc) what would be the worst thing you had to eat?
Well all of it's foul! I'd hate to have to eat an eyeball or an animal's willy or something though, that would be manky!
8. Whats the worst/most embarassing CD/Album you've ever owned and do you still have it?
I still have all my Steps albums, which even though I loved them at the time, it's probably quite embarrassing now!
9. what would be your dream vehicle (bikes, cars, boats, batcar and millenium falcon is allowed!)?
I'd love Penelope Pitstop's car!
10. Would you ever get a tattoo?
I'm really not sure, I have an idea in my head of getting a daffodil tattoo up my leg, of a bunch of different spring flowers, but I'm really not sure. I wouldn't want to ever regret it.
11. What characteristics do you dislike in yourself?
I'm such a procrastinator! I hate it, but I barely get things done on time, yet I never do anything to try and change it, I'm always that person whose finished their essay off the night before and printing it off that morning! I always put stuff off, then immediately regret it.
12. Your favourite item of clothing and why?
I seriously cannot pick just one! Probably my 50's style dress and playsuit, they're so gorgeous and I hardly wear them for fear of damageing them!
13. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would it be and who would it be with?
New York (even though I've already been twice!) but with my boyfriend!
I'd also love to go to Paris and Vietnam
14. If you could have any animal/creature, What would be your ultimate pet be?
PIG.
Words can't even describe how much I actually want a micro-pig, I have my heart set on owning one when I'm older, I've read up about them and everything, I love how similarly they act to dogs, and how clever and endearing they are.
Also the fact that they are insanely cute ;)
15. What did you want to be when you were little and do you think you ever will be?
When I was little I wanted to be an author, and I still have that idea in my head, maybe one day I'll write a book, maybe it'll become my career, who knows!
16. Whats the next planned event you're looking to in your life?
In true geek style, I'm quite excited to visit the Wilberforce museaum on Wednesday with the rest of my history class!
17. What were you doing before you started this?
Facebook, haha!
18. What was the last thing you ate that you really shouldnt of ?
The last too French Fancies, considering I ate the entire box apart from one that my friend ate :')
19. If you were an ice cream/haagen daz/ben an jerrys flavour what would you be?
Cookie Dough!
20. Who was the last person you spoke to that you didnt want to talk to?
Someone in my English Language class!
21. What was your favourite toy as a child . . .and now?
Scragger, a huge polar bear. He still resides in my bed with me.
22. When was the last time you cried laughing and why?
Earlier today, my art teacher was telling us a story about having to ask her son if he needed condoms! Oh dear.
23. What is stashed under your bed/mattress?
Boxes full of rubbish and revision notes and CD's.
24. What did you dream about last night?
All I can remember about it was that I was wearing a pair of Topshop pants as my actual trousers.
25. What are you really afraid of?
Heights. I'm scared to death.
