This evening I went for some lovely Nandos and shopping with my Dad and his girlfriend, and discovered that I'm too tall for maxi dresses! UGH. How can this be? I'm normally a 10 in dresses and skirts, then a 12 in trousers/leggings, partly because I have chunkyish thighs and because I have long legs too (I'm around 5'10/5'11 just to give you an idea)and a ten comes up too short, and a 12 is just too big on the body! I felt like crying in the New Look changing rooms after spotting my perfect maxi dress after trying on countless other maxis, only to find a 10 came just above my ankle, and there was no size 12 to be found on the rack for me to even try :(
Anyway that's my mini rant(or should I say MAXI rant /terrible pun), I did however get some nice hair stuff and some desert boots from Primark instead, I'm planning to go shopping again in half term, so I will probably include them in a haul from that unless you see them on here first. Tomorrow I'm also going to book an eye test, hopefully my local Specsavers will have the Gok Wan range in!
